Hooper Drives the Boat Chief
Sharks are my spirit animal it was only a matter of time before I did a shark. But more than just draw something beautiful I wanted to up my game for this one so I also referenced a sunset over the ocean for the background and tried to create a clear distinction between air and see, working more darkness, movement and curvature into the blues at the bottom while keeping the top more linear and not so ensconced in shadow. This piece blew me out of the water….ahhhhh :) The title comes from a line from the movie “Jaws”. There aren’t too many movies you could call perfect but I think this is one of them, infinitely quotable and entertaining, if I come across it on tv, I know my day has come to a halt until its over. I’d rather name this piece after the monologue Quint delivers about being on the U.S.S. Indianapolis but honestly, who has time for that. So… Hooper drives the boat chief.
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
